The Newest Tote Bag...

Here is the latest tote bag!  I have been making so many pouches, that I needed a break.  This tote is a bit less flashy than most of the bags that I make.  I tend to pick very bright, bold fabrics.  I think this one may be more appealing to someone who is a bit more reserved.  The size is awesome, you can slide almost any notebook or binder in it without a problem.  Plus, there is a magnetic snap if you would like to keep everything in.

This is a fun little strip of fabric, almost like bias tape to add a little color and draw in the lining fabric to the outside.

This picture shows the interior and the pockets along one side.

I have used both fusible fleece and heavy interfacing to give the bag shape and strength.  It pretty much stands up by itself.  This is super handy when you are trying to get things into it.  The sides are sturdy enough that you are not fighting floppy fabric as you slide your things in.

A Barn Sale!

I got invited to a wonderful Barn Sale in Central Minnesota this weekend...It was set up to well!  So many cool things.  I don't know if anything sold yet, but here are some photos of what I brought.

The Bigger Pouches!

Here are a few of the larger Sugar Loaf pouches...The big ones are about 6 inches long by 4 inches wide and about 4 inches tall.  The small pouches are about 4 inches long by 3 inches wide and about 3 inches tall.   I just love all the fun fabrics that you can use for a pouch!
