Silent Auction Item!

I made this bag for a silent auction to benefit my son's Hockey team.  It turned out cute, but was a pain to make.  Everything that could go wrong did.  I had picked some upholstery fabric to use in the beginning.  I had the whole bag cut out and tried to iron the interfacing on.  First, I burned the fabric... learned you  can't set your iron so high with this type of upholstery fabric.  Re-cut the piece, tried to iron on the interfacing again... my interfacing wouldn't stick to the fabric.  Ugh.  So, I threw all the upholstery fabric in the circular file and proceeded to begin all over again with regular cotton fabric.  Then the pattern was incorrect on the pleat placement... I had to do a bunch of modifications.

Lesson learned, never try a new pattern when you are in a time crunch!  Everything that can go wrong, will!!!!!

Vintage buttons from my Grandma Heiden!
It turned out cute, but smaller than I had hoped.

Glad it all came together in the end... I almost gave up on this one!

The latest Bagley Bags projects!

This is a tutu that I made for my niece... it took 75 feet of tulle!

This next project is a cute little pouch for your key ring!  It turned out adorable.

This is my lame attempt at learning how to crochet!  Ha Ha!

Golden Drumsticks!  My friend and I made these for her 20 year old son on his Golden Birthday!  He is a great drummer and he loved them!

I made 8 of these crazy elephants at Christmas time... they were fun to give away to the little ones!

This was an experiment, I modified a pattern to make this envelope money system wallet.  Dave Ramsey would be proud!

This was a custom bag made for my cousin in law!  I love this fabric!
